Cancellation policy

All deposits are non-refundable.

If you need to reschedule an appointment please try and give us as much notice as possible. We understand that this isn’t always possible, but the minimum notice period we require is 3 working days. Unfortunately if you rebook later then this then you would lose your deposit as its unlikely we will be able to fill the space at such short notice.

Do I need an appointment or can I just walk in?

Occasionally we have some free time due to customers rescheduling, the best way to keep up to date with any last minute availability is to like us on Facebook & Instagram. We advise emailing us in plenty of time if you want a specific date and we will do our best to fit you in.

How do I look after my new tattoo?

Please refer to our "aftercare" section for all the information you'll need on how to take good care of your new tattoo.

Does it hurt?

Pain really depends on the person, some people find certain areas much more painful than others but its all down to your tolerance. The artists will do their best to make you a comfortable as possible and try to keep you relaxed as this does help. Most people return for more than one tattoo so its best described as a bearable pain.

When will I see my design?

Due the artists workload its not possible to see your design prior to the session. We advise when booking in you give us a really good, detailed explanation of what you would like so when drawing your design the artist has all the information. Usually sending this, along with all images, via email is the best way as its all written down. If you come to your appointment around 15-20 minutes before it starts and the artist will go through their design with you. With cover ups the design is usually freehanded onto the skin as we have to work with what is there, so there isn’t anything to see beforehand.

How much is it going to cost and how long will it take?

When it comes to tattoos you do get what you pay for and this piece will be on your body for life, so finding the ‘cheapest place’ isn’t the best way to choose an artist. Our minimum price is £90 this is also our hourly rate. The artists also offer a day rate, please get in contact with them for more information on this. If you email your ideas to us, include a rough size in centimetres and placement on the body and we can give you a price and a rough guide to how long it will take.

Can you fix or cover up my old tattoo?

The best way for us to be able to answer this question is via email. Please send some good, clear images of what you want to fix/cover. Include a close up picture and one further away, and also any ideas you have and we will be able to advise what we can do.

Are your inks vegan?

All of the inks, transfer paper and creams we use are vegan.

Can I get a tattoo whilst pregnant or breastfeeding?

You are not able to get a tattoo whilst pregnant or breastfeeding. If you have an appointment booked already and are now pregnant, congratulations! Please give us a call and we can reschedule your appointment for a later date.

Can you tattoo over a scar?

This all depends on how old & raised the scar is and what you would like over the top. The best thing to do would be to email us a few pictures of your scar and any ideas you have and we can let you know whats possible.

Can I bring a friend with me?

Unfortunately its not possible for you to bring anyone into the tattoo area with you, however you are more than welcome to bring a friend for moral support, they will be able to wait in our comfortable reception area for you.

Can I use numbing cream?

We advise against using numbing creams for a number of reasons. Firstly they are usually in a cream format and take several hours to take effect. Once they are removed, so prior to us putting the transfer on, they then only work for around 30-45 minutes and are only effective on the area they were applied so if your placement changes or the tattoo goes on longer than this time the pain comes back and your body hasn’t had time to prepare for it so it can be much more unpleasant than if you’d just gone without! It also negatively affects the healing process. From an artists point of view the cream causes the skin to puff up and is much harder for them to work with.

What should I do to prepare for my tattoo?

On the day of your appointment make sure you have had something to eat and drink. We advise against drinking alcohol on the day of your appointment or the evening before and try and get a good nights sleep.

If you’re coming in for a day session, feel free to bring in some snacks and sugary drinks with you.

Can I go to the gym after?

Its fine to go to the gym as soon as your feel ready, just make sure you keep your tattoo clean and avoid any exercises and equipment which rub against your new tattoo. If it comes into contact with any equipment ensure you clean it right away. Avoid swimming, saunas, jacuzzis and steam rooms until the tattoo is fully healed.

Is it ok to go on a sunbed?

We advise avoiding sunbeds for around 4 weeks after getting a new tattoo done. The sun can fade tattoos really fast so we recommend using a high factor cream on them at all times to keep them looking bright.

If I’m under 18 can I get a tattoo with parental consent?

You have to be 18 by law to get a tattoo, parental consent is not applicable for tattooing. If you are under 25 you will have to provide a valid Driving Licence or Passport to prove your age so please ensure you bring either with you on the day of your appointment, without this we will not be able to do your tattoo.
